The annual conference of the CCS - IHSA is the primary opportunity in Ireland for students of history to meet and was first organised in Newman House of UCD in Dublin in 1950, with representatives of the five Irish universities then extant attending. Students from Ireland and those studying Irish history abroad present papers at this event, to which all history students are welcome.

This year's annual conference was another great success, due in no small part to the hard work and enthusiasm of the organising coiste of QUB students. Photos and videos from the event will be available to view on this site in the next while. Following a well attended CCB-AGM several new ideas will be put into effect over the next year before the 2014 conference takes place in Luimneach with the able students of Mary I - facebook event page.
